Covid-19 and end-of year festivities

“Because of the Covid, we won’t be able to celebrate Christmas with my parents.”

Several European countries have decided to extend lockdown measures until the end of the year festivities in order to stop the spread of the Covid-19. This has led to the adoption of sometimes surprising provisions, such as the ban on having more than one person at home (four if one has a garden) in Belgium.
