A clockwork PM | VoxEurop (English)

On a summit on 21 March in Brussels EU leaders have granted the United Kingdom a double extension of the deadline to leave the European Union: If the Withdrawal agreement negotiated with London and adopted last December is approved by the British Parliament before the original date set for leaving, set for 29 March, the deadline for leaving is extended until 22 May (before the European elections). Should the Parliament fail to approve it, Britain will have to decide before 12 April whether it will leave without an agreement or if it remains temporarily in the EU. In the latter case, Britain will have to organise the European elections, to be held on 23 May.
